Vietnam 's forests remain relatively unexplored and only recently have several areas been designated as nature preserves to protect the country's existing and endangered species. In some of these parks there exists a wide variety of plants, birds, and mammal including those listed in the World Red Book.

Cuc Phuong National Park is one of Vietnam 's most important nature reserves. The Park's primary tropical rainforest is home to an amazing variety of wildlife and in recent years several species have been discovered here.

Day 1: Hanoi -Cuc Phuong (L,D)

From Hanoi , we drive south to Cuc Phuong National Park . Upon arrival, we will visit the Endangered Primate Rescue center and learn about the work that is being done to preserve the endangered native primates. After lunch in a restaurant at headquarter we explore the lush forest. Overnight in Homestay.

Day 2: Cuc Phuong National Park-Hanoi (B, L)

Rising to the sounds of the forest all around us, we commence our trek through the lush rainforest, past centuries-old trees. Meet our driver at the other site of the national park from which we make our way back to Hanoi.
