Situated in the Tonkin Golf, Halong Bay is one of the world's natural wonders - a bay with more than 3,000 islands, which time, wind and waves have sculpted into fantastic shapes. The best way to appreciate this magical scene is from a boat, cruising between these karst cliffs, which loom like fairytale castles, complete with rocky spires and hidden caves. The bay is dotted with many tiny islands, pristine sandbanks on the turquoise water providing an excellent backdrop for swimming or just sunbathing on the boat deck.

Day 1: Hanoi - Halong City (L,D)

Our guide will pick up you at 8:30 a.m. at main lobby of your hotel. We drive through the beautiful countryside of the Red River Delta en route to Halong City. Upon arriving in Ha Long City we transfer to our private boat for an amazing cruise of Halong Bay, and weather permitting, have the opportunity for a swim in the crystalline emerald waters. The trip would not be complete without a sumptuous seafood lunch on board as we cruise. We also visit one beautiful limestone grotto before making our way back to Halong City where we stay for the night.

Day 2: Ha Long City – Hanoi (B,L-)

After breakfast we check out of our hotel and drive back to Hanoi. En route we will visit the Dong Trieu Ceramic village, the But Thap Pagoda. The trip ends at your hotel at around 1 p.m.
