Day 01: Arrival Ho Chi Minh (D)

Pick up at Ho Chi Minh Airport and proceeds to hotel for check-in. Rest & relax until pick-up for dinner at Indochine Cruising Restaurant where you can enjoy dinner and relax by the river.

Day 02: Ho Chi Minh  (B/L/D)        

Pick up at hotel and going on a half day city tour and shopping. This tour unravels Saigon 's turbulent past and also provides a glimpse into the fascinating variety the city has to offer. The first stop is the Reunification Palace , the most famous building in Ho Chi Minh City . The ‘American War' was completely ended on 30 th April, 1975 when the tank No. 843 of the northern troops crashed into the gate of the building what it used to be the residence of the President of the Republic of Vietnam. Then we drive to War Remnants' Museum , the poignant display of the futility of the war with many black & white pictures, while, the outside contains of rusting jets, tanks and cannons captured from American military. The tour stops for lunch at local restaurant adjacent to the Saigon 's mosque. The tour also should not miss the bustling of Chinatown and Binh Tay Market.

Day 03: Ho Chi Minh / Cu Chi Tunnels Hoc Mon District (B/L/D)

Pick-up at hotel and enjoy an excursion to the famous Cu Chi tunnels , 70 km north of Ho Chi Minh City. This network of tunnels, which stretched for over 200km, became legendary during the 1960's. The Cu Chi tunnels played a vital part in the ‘American War' in that they allowed the Vietcong to control a large rural area only 30 to 40 km from Saigon . At its height, the tunnel system stretched from Saigon to the Cambodian border. The network, part of which were several levels deep included innumerable trap doors, specially constructed living areas, storage facilities, weapons factories, field hospitals, command centre and kitchens. Today the remaining tunnels have become a major tourist attraction giving visitors a unique experience and feel of what underground life in the “American War' must have been like. The tunnels have been widened for visitors' benefits. For those interested, there's even the opportunity to fire off rounds from AK47 or M16 at the nearby rifle range. Allegedly, the old wooden targets resembled the US marines.

Day 04: Mekong Delta (B/L/D)

Pick up at hotel and full day tour of Mekong Delta. On arrival at My Tho, embark a private boat to see Floating Market. Then continue cruising along small creek to Mekong River estuary, to Con Phung ( Phoenix Island ) and stop over a garden restaurant at a local house for Vietnamese lunch. The boat cruises more along natural creeks and quiet village in Ben Tre Province . Visit orchards, explore the local coconut candy production process, taste candy and coconut pulp.

Day 05: Ho Chi Minh Departure (B)

Free at leisure until pick up for transfer to Airport.
